Color the whole surface solid. Strike a horizon line 2/3 up all the way across, color the upper sky a different color, make mountains in a dark color across the horizon line, then start blending colors with a bigger fan setting. experiment with shadowing and light. I hit the erase button a lot. I wish I had better Tagging "Letters" skill.
